JOZIKIDS Walks and Events

I am sure that most of you had no idea how many beautiful walks there are for families in and around Johannesburg every weekend. Take a look at the list below and be sure to check the details before embarking on your adventure, especially if you have very young children. If the walks are too hard you can always find an open air market (see MARKETS below) to visit, a party venue’s open day or choose from a long list of day outings in our to go section.

More than 20 new deals have been added to our Special Offers this week. Don’t forget to check them out.

MELVILLE KOPPIES COMMITTEE WARNING

I hope you enjoyed the festive break and are all geared up for 2009.

Our new website is up and running. Norman Baines is the new webmaster and he is making it really special. We have decided to put a ‘lost and found’ on it because there are many items where I can’t trace the owners. I’d be obliged if you would put this on your website. The info….

The corner of Judith Rd and Beyers Naude is a notorious smash and grab point. Many of the items stolen land up on Melville Koppies. We are not always able to trace the owners so we have put a ‘LOST AND FOUND’  item on our website www.mk.org.za. For instance some property that we have at the moment is a driver’s licence for HJ De Klerk and three IFRS books, worth hundreds of rands.  Please consult the website if you have lost property. Incidents at this corner must also be reported to Parkview police station. Please also phone us with details and the case numbers of all incidents at this corner. 011 482 4797
