The Hairy Maclary books by Lynley Dodd are fabulous for 2 -5 year olds, as are the books by Julia Donaldson (A squash and a squeeze, The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo's Child, etc http://www.juliadonaldson.co.uk/bigbooks.htm - all in Exclusive Books, I think.

Sticker books are also really popular in our house - great for matching up things to silhouettes.

Hi Gavin,
Please can you tell us about yourself. I cannot find anything on the website you referred us to. Where do you come from, why do you write kids books, what inspires you, where your books are sold and whatever else you would like to share with potential readers.
